i'm not a very big fan of the theory that blackbeard is a cerberus since he's been the only entity known to be able to have multiple devil fruit powers without exploding, making some people think there is more to his body than meets the eye
before it was more explained that there's definitely something unusual physiologically about him (like, being a person that does not ever sleep) i thought maybe it was his first devil fruit power that allows him to have multiple powers
it's said, though has yet to be seen, that if someone eats two devil fruits that they explode, well blackbeard's power of darkness is partially related to gravity (though later there's someone with further specific "gravity" powers) so i had been figuring that he's using his black hole of a body to keep all his parts from flying willy nilly after acquiring another power
personally when it comes to crackpot theories, i'm a bigger fan of "gekko moria is actually nesting dolls", since there is a vertical seam that goes along his entire body, leading some people to theorize that he may open up and have several smaller versions of himself inside
nesting dolls traditionally have a horizontal seam though so some people think this makes it really unlikey, but i'm going to assume that it's the truth
he also looks a lot like a bowling pin so it makes sense that there would be several other bowling pin shaped people, so why wouldn't they just be housed inside of him
well maybe because bowling pins are a uniform size, and nesting would likely mean there are continually reducing sizes of pins
