>>478135602I also clear out the boss and the turn ins, mostly to use the blood shard things for alt gearing at new world tiers, and I always flag up first thing when I land, the chests make it worth doing alone, but there's also seasonal journey steps that require you to kill the zone boss while flagged up 5x.
i've mentioned this in the last thread, but i enjoyed the pvp, mostly because rogues always had some way to cheese. i won many vs me all the time as poison rapid fire, tb poison, and the maligger heart season i abused the taunt heart that worked on players as hard cc unstoppable didn't work vs it and everyone's healthbar slowly deleted from poison ticks they couldn't outheal.
since s2 i have seen maybe 3 players as an avid traveler there, and i always notice the boss isn't on the map, but will spawn about a minute later, always at 6 o clock in the southern sands. i was actually pretty enchanted by seeing that clip of a ww barb casually accidentally killing a rogue, that i shit on every barb i saw and kept their ears for a while but my stash got full.
with the above as evidence, they are either artificially stifling pvp by making them solo instances, or the pvp zone is just so wildly unpopular that even those who still play d4 regularly won't touch it.
crossplay on/off, same results. you can witness the same behavior when arriving at world bosses as most people are loading into the same instance at the same moment around 5 minutes prior to spawn.
